Listen.
Some of us stopped caring about the name-calling a long time ago.
We were called names when we were being abused, harmed, and assaulted as children.
We survived that.
We healed through that.
And along the way, we learned something powerful:
Healing teaches you to tell the difference between people who truly want to help…
and people who carry harm in the language of healing.
We still believe in therapy.
We still believe in real help.
But we also know—through lived experience—that “healers” come in all kinds.
Some save.
Some wound.
And once you’ve lived through it, you learn to discern the difference faster.
Not perfectly—just humanly.
Because we are still humans.
The humans who still love children and their innocence in a protective, genuine, deeply authentic way.
Enough to want to shield them from the kind of harm we will be healing from for the rest of our lives.
That is love.
So when you accuse us of “hate,” we understand why.
We’ve heard far worse from people who were doing far worse.
But the deeper the healing the more we can hear people are really saying.
We will keep speaking.
We will keep warning.
We will keep loving in authentic and safe ways.
We will keep protecting what money can’t buy and what no drug, no policy, no ideology can restore once it’s taken.
What happened to us did not make us stronger.
Healing through it did.
And that’s why we speak now.
Be original. Children, you are allowed to be as imaginative, bright, bold, and different as your spirit calls you to be. Let your ideas sparkle. Let your style shine. Be original—be you—with all the flair your heart can carry.
Create strong boundaries around your beauty, your talent, your safety, your health, and your peace.
Honor the boundaries of others.
Place your trust in those who protect your joy, not in those who try to dim it.
Put your trust in those who do not seek to harm you.
Children—
we love you.
We honor you.
And we will not stop protecting you.
