A message for every loving parent, elder, teacher, and guide.
We created a printable this week.
It features a little Black girl—hand on hip, eyes forward, spirit unshaken.
She says:
“I am what’s beautiful about culture.
You don’t have to protect people who hurt us to feel proud.
I carry culture in my curls, my voice, my joy.
Don’t let anyone twist that to excuse harm.”
And it’s not just a cute message.
It’s a line in the sand.

✨ The Printable That Speaks Back
That’s what this little girl reminds us.
She is culture.
She’s not the shame.
She’s not the secret.
She’s not the one who should feel guilty for saying “This hurt me.”
She deserves the freedom to tell her truth—without fear of dishonoring the family, the church, the community, or the legacy.
Because if the legacy can’t hold the truth, it was never strong enough to begin with.
Let the children know:
We are listening now.
We are lifting them—not the lie.
We are choosing them over the cover-up.
