🧡 Who Are My Safe People?
Every child needs to know:
You don’t have to face the world alone.
One of the greatest gifts we can give our children is a clear understanding of who their safe people are—the adults they can trust when something feels confusing, scary, or wrong.
Safe people are:
Grown-ups who listen without blame
Adults who protect, not punish
People who believe them and help them feel seen
Children need to know that safe people welcome their feelings, even the hard ones.
Safe people don’t ask for silence, secrets, or shame.
Ask your child:
“Who can you talk to when something feels wrong?”
“Who helps you feel better, not worse?”
“Whose hugs feel safe and warm?”
Encourage them to draw or list their safe people. Help them keep that list updated and close.
When children know who their safe people are, they’re more likely to speak up.
And speaking up is one of the strongest, bravest things a child can do.
Let’s raise children who know where to turn—
because every child deserves to be surrounded by safety and love.
