We quickly got to the point where critiquing harm against women and children is viewed as hate. That’s how boundary-breaking works.  


It starts slowly and is barely noticeable.  


And then one day you look up and start wondering, “how did we get here?”  

The invasion of boundaries is designed that way. It is strategic. 

People who habitually invade boundaries, people who feel ‘entitled’ to invade boundaries… rarely say: “Ooops, I think I have gone too far. Let me back up.”

Not everything is offensive, sexist, or misogynist but….some things are.  

Many women predicted this direction earlier this year when Tampax hired a male as their ‘representative’ to explain to women and girls how to effectively use a tampon. But those calls were ignored and dismissed as ‘hateful’.


So this tweet isn’t surprising at all. If you aren’t listening to women and girls….

It can only lead to public tweets to millions of people around the world that are as offensive, sexist, and misogynist as this. 

It turns out that if you sell products to women and girls, you actually have to listen to women and girls.
