At RosasChildren, we stand on an unshakable truth:

Children are not responsible for managing the desires of adults.
Children are not tools for anyone’s validation, affection, or attention.
Children are sacred—and any threat to their safety must be confronted directly.

Yet across some corners of the internet, academia, and even so-called progressive spaces (conservatives are not excluded), a dangerous idea is quietly spreading:
That attraction to children should be treated like just another identity.
That it can be rebranded as “MAP” (Minor-Attracted Person).
That it’s somehow hateful or close-minded to speak up and say—this is wrong.

Let us be clear:

🚫 Attraction to children is not an identity.

🚫 It is not “misunderstood affection.”

🚫 It is not a form of love.

It is a serious mental disturbance that has real potential to lead to lifelong harm.
And it must be managed, not embraced.

There is no justice that includes silence about this.

There is no liberation that allows children to be sexualized.
There is no progressive movement worth building if it turns a blind eye to the most ancient and persistent form of oppression: abuse of the young by the powerful.

If someone feels attracted to children, they must:

  • Seek immediate professional help

  • Be kept away from children

  • Be held accountable to community safety

  • Not be allowed into positions of trust, education, faith leadership, or mentorship

  • Never be centered or romanticized in public conversations

Protecting their access to children is not compassion. It’s complicity.

🔥 We will not “reimagine” harm.

We will not “reframe” exploitation as empathy.
We will not allow predators to rename themselves and re-enter our villages cloaked in soft words.

And to those spreading this misinformation, we say this lovingly but firmly:

You can be progressive, but you still have to protect children.
You can advocate for justice, but not at the cost of a child’s safety.
You can believe in healing and redemption, but that does not mean access to victims.

At RosasChildren, we’re not confused:

  • Children are off-limits.

  • Childhood is not up for debate.

  • And no movement that leaves children unprotected will ever lead us to liberation.

Protect the children. Period.
